Description
The unit has detected a loss of input and if the
Configured By field displays User, it searches for a
backup transport using the configured search path. The
configured search path is displayed in the Backup
Transport area.
If the Configured By field displays Uplink, it searches
for a backup transport using the disaster recovery profile
from the PNC uplink.
The disaster recovery feature is disabled. The unit is in
maintenance mode. To enable disaster recovery, see
Configuring the Disaster Recovery Settings (on page
157).
The disaster recovery feature is disabled by the PNC
uplink. Contact your PNC uplink administrator.
The unit is in a normal state and no disaster recovery is
in progress. It is set to use the uplink disaster recovery
settings. The unit receives a search path with backup
transports only. However, the amount of data for the
backup plan service in the Disaster Recovery Table (DRT)
exceeds the allowable limit from the current unit. Contact
your PNC uplink administrator to reduce the amount of
backup plan IDs in the Uplink Configuration.
The unit is in a normal state, but the unit is not ready for
disaster recovery due to a missing search path from the
PNC uplink. The following lists possible reasons:
Tuning descriptors in the DRT is empty. As a result,
no match has been found for the origin.
Tuning descriptors in the DRT consists of only one
tuning parameter, which matches the origin. As
other tuning descriptors are empty, there are no
transports for the search path.
Contact your PNC uplink administrator.
The unit is in a normal state, but the unit is not ready for
disaster recovery due to the DRT received from the
uplink is malformed. The following is a list of the
possible reasons:
DRT Valid flag in the DRT is set to FALSE.
Customer code in the ADP does not match the
customer code in the DRT header.
Disaster ID in the ADP does not match the ID in the
DRT header.
Contact your PNC uplink administrator.
