Description
This sets the transcode channel
output bit rate when HD
MPEG-4/ AVC to HD MPEG-2
transcoding is selected.
This sets the transcode channel
output bit rate when HD to SD
transcoding is selected for the
output channel.
This selects the Transcode
Group of Pictures (GOP)
format.
This selects the transcode
manual GOP format value. The
transcoder attempts to reuse
information from the encoded
bit stream to improve the video
quality of the transcoded
stream. Amongst others, if the
incoming GOP structure is
similar to that of an MPEG-2, it
will reuse the frame allocations
from the incoming stream as
long as GOP Control is set to I
Frame Sync. If the downstream
transcoder does not support
altering GOP structures, set the
GOP Control setting to User
GOP (MN). This will also
require the setting of the GOP
structure which is given as two
numbers, where the first is the
length of the GOP and the
second is the number of B-
pictures per sub-GOP.
This enables or disables 3:2
pulldown.
This selects the HD/SD
transcode channel aspect ratio.
