Chapter 18: GVRP configuration
Use the procedures in this section to configure GVRP.
GVRP is primarily used to prune traffic from VLANs that do not pass between trunking switches.
In this section, GVRP is configured on Ethernet interfaces, but you can also configure GVRP on LAG
interfaces.
Enabling GVRP globally
By default, GVRP is not enabled for the switch. You must first enable GVRP on the switch
before you can configure the 802.1Q ports for GVRP operation.
Use the commands in this section to enable GVRP globally.
