Resistance verification
To check the resistance function, you will:
•
Use shielded, Teflon-insulated or equivalent cables in a 4-wire configuration
•
Characterize the calibrator 1 Ω, 10 Ω, and 909 MΩ nominal values with external reference DMM
•
Verify that the displayed readings fall within specified limits
•
For the 1 Ω, 10 Ω, and 1 GΩ ranges, verify accuracy from reference DMM readings
•
For the 100 Ω to 100 MΩ ranges, verify accuracy from actual calibrator source values
Characterize the calibrator and 909 MΩ resistor
If not already done, complete the procedure for characterizing the calibrator for dry circuit verification.
Characterize the calibrator for 1 Ω and 10 Ω
