(3) Master Cylinder

(4) Brake Pedal

Master Cylinder
1. Drain the brake oil from the master cylinder assembly (4).
2. Remove the push rod (1) and boot (5) from the master cylinder.
3. Remove the internal circlip (2), and pull out the piston (6) and
return spring (9).
(When reassembling)
• Install the outlet valve, noting its direction.
• Install the piston, taking care not to damage the cylinder cup lip.

(4) Master Cylinder Assembly
(5) Boot
Equalizer
1. Drain the brake oil from the equalizer.
2. Secure the equalizer in a vise, remove the both plug (1) to pull
out the piston (5).
(When reassembling)
• Install the piston and plug, noting the O-ring.
Tightening torque
Plug
(1) Plug
(2) Spring
(3) Washer
Brake Pedal (ROPS Model)
1. Remove the panel cover refer to "[1] CLUTCH PEDAL" at "2.
CLUTCH" section
2. Remove the springs (2) and master cylinder rod pin (3).
3. Remove the pedal shaft (1) mounting screw.
4. Draw out the pedal shaft (1) and brake pedal.
(When reassembling)
• Apply grease to the pedal shaft.
IMPORTANT
• After reassembling the brake pedal, be sure to adjust the
brake pedal free travel.
