Steering Joint and Wire Harness
1. Remove the steering joint shaft mounting screw (2) then remove
the steering joint shaft (1).
2. Remove the retaining nut for hydraulic hose (3).
3. Remove the connectors (4).
4. Remove the harness connectors for the engine oil pressure
switch (7), alternator (5) and starter (6).
(When reassembling)

Separating Engine from Clutch Housing
1. Check the engine and clutch housing case are securely mounted
on the disassembling stands.
2. Remove the floor cover and duct retainer (1).
3. Disconnect the connectors (4) and pull out the connectors from
cabin.
4. Remove the seat under cover (3) and duct (2).
5. Remove the engine mounting screws and nuts.
6. Separate the engine from the clutch housing.
(When reassembling)
• Apply molybdenum disulphide (Three Bond 1901 or equivalent)
to the splines of damper disc boss.
• Apply liquid gasket (Three Bond 1141, 1211 or equivalent) to joint
face of the engine and clutch housing.
