[7] CHECK POINTS OF EVERY 400 HOURS
Replacing Fuel Filter
1. Remove the fuel filter (1).
2. Put a film of clean fuel on rubber seal of new filter.
3. Tighten the filter until it contacts the mounting surface. Tighten
filter by hand an additional 1/2 turn only.
4. Bleed the fuel system. (Refer to "[14] OTHERS" in this section.)

Cleaning Water Separator
This job should not be done in the field, but in a clean place.
1. Close the fuel cock (1).
2. Unscrew the retainer ring (2) and remove the cup (3), and rinse
the inside with kerosene.
3. Take out the element (5) and dip it in the kerosene to rinse.
4. After cleaning, reassemble the water separator, keeping out dust
and dirt.
5. Bleed the fuel system. (Refer to "[14] OTHERS" in this section.)
