Print quality problems (continued)
Problem
Blank Prints
Entire printed page is
blank with no visible print.
Black prints
The page is entirely black.
Possible Cause(s)
If just installed, the Toner Cartridge
insert (tape) may still be in place.
Multiple sheets are being fed from
the paper tray at the same time.
No printable data received from
computer.
Defective Toner Cartridge or low on
toner.
Defective Toner Cartridge, or the
Toner Cartridge is at its end of life.
Printer power supply has failed.
Print Quality Problems
Corrective Action(s)
Remove the tape insert.
Remove the paper from the paper tray and fan
it. Ensure that paper is correctly loaded in the
tray with edges under metal corners.
Print a Test Print. If the Test Print is normal,
check the following:
• Interface cable between computer and
printer
• Printer set up and application software
If the Test Print is blank, contact your dealer or
Olivetti.
Replace the Toner Cartridge.
Replace the Toner Cartridge.
Contact your dealer or Olivetti.
