4. Low FlowT，倒t: Set the flow of the gas being testedω0.05ljmin (or
minimum flow for O
2 ).
When checking a regulator on systems that have a
single flowtube , open the needle valve 1月 tum from the minimum stopω
achieve a flow close to 0.05υmin.
• Close the cylinder valve and allow the pr臼sure to decay to 2068 kPa
(300 psi) as indicated on the cylinder gauge (upperlimit ofthe red band).
Th e flow may be temporarily increased to facilitate the decay.
• At the time that the cylinder pressure reaches 2068 kPa (300 psi) , set
the system switch to S饱ndby.

one minute , thetestdevice muststabilize between:
(60) DIN 372-400 kPa (54-58 psi)
(50) Pln Indexed 310-341 kPa (45.0-49.5 psi).
If the test device pressure does not stabilize within one minute ,
replace the cylinder supply.
If the test device stabilizes within one minute , but the readings are
not within specifica币。 ns， readjustthe regulator (Section 5. 1. 3).
5. Slowly open 由e cylindervalve.
6. Set the system switch to On.

Set the flow control valve to the maximum indicated flow
on the flow tube.
• Th e testdevice reading must be greaterthan:
(60) DIN 221 kPa (32 psi)
(50) 阴n Indexed 221 kPa (32 psi)
If the test device reading under "high flow" conditions is
le臼 than
specified , readjustthe regulator perthe procedure in Section 5. 1. 3;
however , set the regulated pressure higher by the difference you
noted in this step plus 7 kPa (1 psi). Th is
adjusts 由旷 lowflow"
regulated output to the high side of the specification
so 由at 伽e
"high flow" regulated pressure can fall within the specification.
If 由 e
regulator subsequently fails the "Iow flow" specification
(step 4) becausethe reading is too high , replacethe cylindersupply.
8. Setthe system switch to Standby.
9. Close the cylindervalve.
10. Bleed the system of all pressure.
11. Disconnect the test device and plug the test port (pull on the plug to
ensure it is locked
in 由 efi创 ng).
12. Replace the rear panel(s).
13. Perform the checkout procedure (Section 3).
