Pilot pressure (P) closes the
exhalation valve.
Drive gas (0) pushes down on the bellows. Gas flows from the bellows

abso巾er (28) , Condenser (2b) , and through a unidirectional valve (inspiratory check
valve) to the patient (3).
During inspiration , fr，臼h gas flows into the inspiratory limb , upstream ofthe inspiratory
check valve.
