9 Repair Procedures
Use the Vaporizer Manifold Valve

Tool to perform the checkout procedure for the
manifold port valve. Th is tool and test procedure are intended for use only
when 由e
valve cartridge assembly is replaced.
Th is replacement and test procedure is a service action and is not part of the
maintenance program.
1. Setthe system switch to Standby.
2. After replacing the valve cartridge assembly, remove the vaporizer port o-ring.

the valve testerto the top ofthe valve by sliding the bottom ofthe tester onto
the o-ring groove.
4. Ti ghten the testerscrew down onto the valve until the screw bottoms outon the top
of the valve. Th e tester o-ring should create a seal with the top of the valve.
5. Remove the upper rear panel (Section 9.2).
6. Remove the inlet tube from the vaporizer manifold.
7. Set the SCGO Selector switch to ACGO.
8. Test the negative
low-pre臼ure
leak-test device:
a. Putyou hand on the inletofthe leak-test device. Push hard for a good seal.
b. Remove all air from the bulb.
c. Th e bulb should not inflate in less than 60 seconds.

10. Remove all air from the bulb. Th e bulb should not inflate in less than 45 seconds.
11. Remove the valve tester.
12. Reassemble the inlet tube , vaporizer port o-ring , and the upper rear pane l.
13. Conduct a negative low-pressure leak test on the system (Section 3.9.1).
