Th
e circuit boards are electrostatic sensitive. Use an anti-static workstation and
wear a wrist groundingstrap when handling a circuit board.
1. Disconnect the remaining cables at the left edge of the control board (CB).
• (A) Two-wire harness to display backlight
• (B) Rex cable to LCD display
• (C) Ribbon cable to rotary encoder
• (D) Flex cable to front panel keyboard (refer to Note)
• (E) Two-wire harness to speaker
2. Remove the two screws

hold the control board to the front enclosure.
3. Carefully lift the control board from the front enclosure. Guide the cables through
the

openings at the left edge ofthe control board.
4. Reassemble in reverse order.
5. Refer to Section 8.3 for installing software and attaching the control board
configuration labe l.
Note The Flex cable forthe front panel keyboard inserts into a ZIF (zero insertion force)
connector on the control board.

screwdriver at the base of the
connector and twist it slightly to pry up on the outer shell of the connector.

the outershell in the released position. Carefully insert
the cable until all the "fingers" are below the surface of the shel l. Push the shell to the
locked position.
