3.14 Power failure test
3 Checkout Procedure
1. Connect the power cord to a mains outle
t.
Th e mains indicator on the
display comes on when AC Power is connected.
If the indicator is not on
,
the display assembly is not receiving AC power.
• Verify AC powerωthe machine (reset circuit breaker).
• Check fuses in display assembly's inlet module.
• Check fuses in machine's AC inlet assembly.
2. Setthe system switch to On.
3. Unplugthe
powerco时 with 由 e
system turned on.
4. Make sure that the power failure alarm comes on.
5. Make sure the following message is on the ventilator display:
• .On Ba忧ery - Power OK?"
6. Connectthe powercable again.
7. Make sure the alarm cancels.

Make sure the system is completely assembled and all accessory devices are
connected to electrical ou甘ets.
1. Connectan approved testdevice (e.g. UL , CSA , or AAMI) and verifythatthe
leakage current isless than:

2. Make sure thatthe resistance to ground isless than O.2Q between an
exposed metalsurface and the ground pin on the power cord.
