Administrative Operations Available via Serial Port / Ethernet

The following two examples recall the presets GREGG and GREGG OPEN respec-
tively.
The file "8500S_P1_Gregg.cmd" contains:
nc.exe -v -n -w 1 123.45.67.89 23 < 8500S_P1_Gregg.txt
The file "8500S_P1_Gregg.txt" contains:
RP GREGG [PASSWORD]
disconnect
The file "8500S_P2_GreggOpen.cmd" contains:
nc.exe -v -n -w 1 123.45.67.89 23 < 8500S_P2_GreggOpen.txt
The file "8500S_P2_GreggOpen.txt" contains:
RP GREGG OPEN [PASSWORD]
disconnect
In the following tables of commands and responses:
Text that the user enters appears in MONOSPACED BOLD.
Responses that the 8500S transmits appear in monospaced normal.
The symbol " " means CR (for received commands) and CR+LF (for transmitted
responses from 8500S).
1. To recall a preset:
Command
RP XXXXXXX[PASSCODE]
In the above table:
If a non-existent control value and/or an invalid passcode is entered, the 8500S
will ignore the command. If a non-existent preset name is entered, your Optimod
will return an error message to indicate that the preset you entered does not ex-
ist.
You can apply this command anytime after the 8500S boots up. The 30-minute

(invalid passcode)
[no error message is issued]
XXXXXXX = the preset name;
PASSCODE = any valid passcode.
