Configuring the callback server

You can configure the callback server to use traditional DDR or bundle DDR. The configuration
differences are as follows:
Traditional DDR—The callback server can place return calls according to either of the following:
Dial string configured with the dialer route command (PPP authentication must be configured).
Username for PPP authentication.
You must select either method by using the dialer callback-center command.
Bundle DDR—The callback server can place return calls only according to callback numbers.
Configuring the callback server by using traditional DDR
Step
1.
Enter system view.
2.
Enter dialup interface view.
3.
Enable the interface to accept
callback requests.
4.
Specify whether the dial string
for callback is determined
according to the authenticated
username or according to a
configured username.
5.
Return to system view.
6.
Configure a dial string for
callback.
Command

callback is determined according to

a callback user and a dial string as
