To configure a dialer interface to place calls:
Step
1.
Enter system view.
2.
Create a dialer interface and
enter its view.
3.
Enable bundle DDR on the
interface.
4.
Specify a dial string.
5.
Return to system view.
Enter physical interface view.
6.
7.
Assign the physical interface
to the specified dialer bundle.
Configuring a dialer interface to receive calls
To configure a dialer interface to receive calls, you only need to enable DDR on the interface. You do not
need to configure dial strings. At the receiving end, configure PAP or CHAP authentication (see
"Configuring PPP and MP") on the physical interface and the dialer peer-name command on the dialer
interface.
To configure an interface to receive calls:
