5. In the next dialog, select the motor and, where applicable, the motor type:
– Either by selecting a standard motor from the list
– Or by entering the motor data
– Or by automatically identifying the motor (motor with DRIVE-CLiQ interface)

Motors with DRIVE-CLiQ interface have an integrated encoder evaluation that is
connected to the Power Module via a fully digital communication interface (DRIVE-
CLiQ).
In this way, motor encoder and temperature signals as well as electronic rating plate
data, such as unique article numbers, rated data (voltage, current, torque) can be
transferred directly to the Control Unit.
