MEMORY OPERATION

D Transferring in the Memory mode
This is useful for transferring frequency and operating
mode while operating in the Memory mode.
When you have changed the frequency or operat-
ing mode in the selected Memory channel:
• The displayed frequency and mode are trans-
ferred to the VFO.
• The entered frequency and mode in the Memory
channel are not transferred to the VFO, and they
remain in the Memory channel.
q Push [CH], then select the Memory channel to be
transferred by pushing [UP Y] or [Z DN] in the
Memory mode.
• Enter the frequency or operating mode if required.
w Hold down [M

• The displayed frequency and operating mode are
transferred to the VFO.
e To return to the VFO mode, push [V/M] momen-
tarily.
 Memory clearing
Any unnecessary Memory channels can be cleared.
The cleared Memory channels become blank chan-
nels.
q Select the Memory mode by pushing [V/M].
w Push [CH], then select the Memory channel to be
cleared by pushing [UP Y] or [Z DN].
e Hold down [M-CL] for 1 second to clear the con-
tents.
• The entered frequency and the operating mode disap-
pear.
• "BLANK" appears.
r To clear other Memory channels, repeat steps w
and e.
