RECEIVE AND TRANSMIT
Filter selection
The fi lter selection adjusts the IF bandpass width, as
shown in the table to the right.
The filter selection is automatically memorized in
each mode.
q Select the desired mode with the mode keys.
w Push [FIL] one or more times to select the desired
fi lter combination.
• ã or ç does not appear while in the normal IF fi lter mode.
• ç appears when the wide IF fi lter is selected.
• ã appears when the narrow IF fi lter is selected.
When an optional fi lter is installed, set the optional
fi lter in the initial Set mode. An optional fi lter is not
selected by default.
