9.2.4 Host bus adapter setup and installation preparation

The following steps are done to configure the IBM TotalStorage DS4000
FC2-133 host bus adapter in the IBM ^x236. The adapters are installed
in PCI slots 3 and 4.
1. Update BIOS and firmware of the HBA to the latest level supported by IBM for
the DS400. The BIOS can be downloaded from the IBM support Web page
http://www.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=ibm&lndocid=MI

See Appendix C, "How to get updates of code and documentation" on
page 623. At time of writing the supported BIOS level is 1.47. The readme file
of this update contains the details how the update need to be performed.
2. Reset the HBA to adapter Defaults.
