VMI and
HMI —
VerticalMotionIndex,HorizontalMotionIndex.
VMI refers to the smallestincrementthat can be made in the
verticalory axis. Linespacingis a multipleof VMI. HMIrefers
to the smallestincrementthat can be madein the horizontalor x
axis. Dot spacingis a multipleof I+MI.
Verticaland HorizontalOffset— text/graphicpositionis oriented
awayfromthecenterof theprintedpage,for speciallayouts,such
as left and rightpagesof a bookor magazine
ThePAPERFEED GROUPincludes:
Feeder — whether the paper will be fed from the cassette or
manually
Papersize— the dimensionsof the papercassettenow in use
