Thismeansthattheprinterisactivatingvariousformatting valuesthat
it willuseinprintinginformation.(Youcanreprogramthesefromthe
frontpanel,if you desire.) When this is completedthe screen will
display
PRINTER WARMUP
and the two lightsat the left sideof the panel— the READYlight,
whichflashes,andtheONLINE light,whichwillshowsteadily.The
otherswill be o~(Fig. 3-4).

The READYLightand the ON LINE light will show steadily;the
otherswillremainoff. Thismeansyoucaninstructyourcomputerto
sendit informationthatit willprint.
If at anypointduringthetestperiodtheprinterdetectsa problem,one
