2. Rock the cartridgeback and forthseveraltimes,as you did before
initialinstallation.Be carefulnot to rock it too vigorously,to avoid
tonerdiscoloration of futureprints.
3. Returnthecartridgeto theprinter,and closethe lid.
4.Plugtheprinterbackintothewallsocketandrestarttheprinter.Then
makeseveraltestprirm to examineprintquality.
Dark Streaks or Stains:
Dark areason a printedpage indicatethat severalan%sof the printer
need cleaning. Beforestartingtheseprocedures,unplugthe printer.
Opentheprintercoverandremovethetonercartridge.Asalways,use
cautionnear the fixingassembly,as it maybe hot.
Primarycoronawire.This islocatedwithinthetonercartridge(Fig.10-
13). Takethewirecleanerstoredinsidethepnnter(Fig. 10-14,10-15),
and insertit in one end of the slot, makingsure it goes in as far as
possible(Fig.10-16).Moveitbackandforththelengthoftheslot(Fig.
10-17).
Removethebrushand setthe tonercartridgecarefullyaside.
