SelectingYESconfirmsyourprinterchoiceandreturnsyou to the
CONTROLPANELMenu
If youarejust startingwithWindows,you shouldselectSETUPfrom
the CONTROLPANELMenu. This will present a Menu with three
options.
Youshouldfmst s electPRINTER andfromthelistchoosetheprinter
you wishto use.
Next,from
SETUP
selectCONNECTIONS.Thiswilllet youdesig-
natetheparallelorsenalportforthe printer,clickingOKtoconfirm
it.
If you are usinga serialprinter,go
to SETUP once again, and select
COMMUNICATIONS
Afteryou indicatethe activeport you havealreadychosen,Win-
dowswillpresenta seriesof settingsoptions. Typein the desired
baud rate and "pushthe button"for your selectionof word (bit)
length,parity,stopbits,handshake,and port.
SelectHARDWARE handshakeand 1 stopbit.
