paper,and pull it towardyou (Fig. 10-8). Take care in handlingthe

After clearinga paperjam, close the printercover, if necessary. To

At sometimeyoumayfindthatthequalityof theprintingis not what
youwant. You mayrun testprintsand thenmaketheprintinglighter
or darker,as desired.
Beginby runningan enginetestprint, whichconsistsof a patternof
verticallines. To do this,makesurethereis paperin thepapercassette
and turntheprinteron, if necessary.Now lookon therighthandside
of theprinterabouthalfwayback. Youwillseea smallhole(Fig. 10-
9).
