Setting in the ADF

1.
Set a document face up in the ADF.
If a document is portrait, set the document so that its top edge is pulled into the ADF first.
If a document is landscape, set the document so that its left edge is pulled into the ADF first.
2.
Align the document guide to the document width.
Note
If ADF paper feed problems often occur, reduce the number of document pages to set.
