1 File Format
Specifies a file format for the scanned file.
2 Encrypted PDF
Creates an encrypted (password-protected) scanned file.
This function is available only when the file format is set to PDF.
3 Compression
Specifies a compression level for the scanned file.

4 Edge Erase
Eliminates a black shadow that may appear around the edges on the scanned file when scanning, for example,
a book.

Adjusts a level of scan density.
2 Document Type
Selects a document type to scan at the most suitable quality.
3 Background
Adjusts a level of the document background removal.

4 Resolution
Specifies the resolution to scan a document.
5 Contrast
Adjusts differences between bright and dark sections on a document to make images and texts easier to
view and read.
6 Hue
Specifies the level of hue to scan a document.
7 Saturation
Specifies the level of saturation to scan a document.
8 RGB
Specifies the RGB values to scan a document.
[Function Settings] > [Profile] Tab
Delete a selected profile on the [Profile] tab.
Specifies duplex scanning.
Set this function when scanning both sides of a document.
Specifies a file name for the scanned file.
If not specified, the file will be named according to the factory default setting.
Specifies a sub folder in which to save the scanned document.
If not specified, the scanned data will be saved in the root folder.
Scans multiple documents as a single job.
Registers current settings to Job Macro.
