Installing Configuration Tool

For the Network Connection
For the USB Connection
Install Configuration Tool by using the Software DVD-ROM.
The following five types of plug-ins are available for Configuration Tool.
User Setting Plug-in
Device Setting Plug-in
Alert Info Plug-in
Network Setting Plug-in
Storage Manager Plug-in
For the Network Connection
Connect this machine to a network, and then start installation.
Note
Check the status of this machine before installing.
This machine is turned on.
This machine is connected to a network with a network cable.
The IP address or other settings are set.
1.
Insert the "Software DVD-ROM" into a computer.
2.
When [AutoPlay] is displayed, click [Run Setup.exe].
Memo
If the [User Account Control] dialog box is displayed, click [Yes].
3.
Select a language from the drop-down list.
4.
Read the license agreement, and then click [Agree].
