Relay bracket.
All electrical wiring at module.
Evaporator core tube at accumulator.
Heater hoses at heater core.
Washer fluid reservoir.
Bolts from blower housing assembly.
Blower housing assembly.
Evaporator to condenser tube.
Evaporator core.
Install or Connect
Evaporator core.
New O-ring all connections (lubricate in 525
viscosity refrigerant oil).
Evaporator to condenser tube.

Tighten
Torque tube connection to 24 Nnn (17 ft.
lbs.).
Blower housing assembly.
Bolts at blower housing assembly.
Heater hoses at heater core.
Evaporator core tube to accumulator.
Tighten
Torque tube connection to 41 N
#
m (30 ft.
lbs.).
Relay bracket.
All electrical wiring at module.
Negative ( —) battery cable.
Evacuate and charge system.
Washer fluid reservoir.
* 1 Inspect
The following for correct operation:
1. Control assembly.
2. Fan blower switch.
3. Compressor clutch cycling.
4. Proper cooling.

Discharge system.

Upper condenser attaching bolts.
Raise vehicle.
Grille.
Both condenser lines.
Lower condenser attaching bolts.
Condenser assembly.

Install or Connect
Condenser assembly.
Lower condenser attaching bolts.
• New O-rings at both condenser lines
(lubricate with 525 viscosity refrigerant
oil).
Both condenser lines.

Tighten
Torque tube assemblies as follows:
• Inlet tube assembly at condenser 17 Nnn
(13 ft. lbs.).
• Outlet tube assembly at condenser 27 Nnn
(17 ft. lbs.).
Grille.
Lower vehicle.
Upper condenser attaching bolts.
Evacuate and charge system.
A/C COMPRESSOR
Remove or Disconnect
1. Negative ( - ) battery cable.
2. Discharge system.
3. Hoist vehicle.
4. Compressor hose assembly.
5. Compressor assembly.
