— Push back and forth gently on the lead to
be sure the terminal is held in place in
both directions. If the terminal easily
pushes or pulls out, review Step Two;
"Re-Form
the Locking Tang."
Before mating the connector halves replace
any terminal covers or retainers that were
removed, and apply grease to prevent corro-
sion.
