This command configures terminal settings, including escape-character,

terminal

lines displayed, terminal type, width, and command history. Use the no
form with the appropriate keyword to restore the default setting.

terminal {escape-character {ASCII-number | character} |
history [size size] | length length | terminal-type {ansi-bbs |
vt-100 | vt-102} | width width}
escape-character - The keyboard character used to escape from
current line input.
ASCII-number - ASCII decimal equivalent. (Range: 0-255)
character - Any valid keyboard character.
history - The number of lines stored in the command buffer, and
recalled using the arrow keys. (Range: 0-256)
length - The number of lines displayed on the screen.
(Range: 0-512, where 0 means not to pause)
terminal-type - The type of terminal emulation used.
ansi-bbs - ANSI-BBS
vt-100 - VT-100
vt-102 - VT-102
width - The number of character columns displayed on the
terminal. (Range: 0-80)
