2.6 Hardware (H/W) Settings

Global Parameters

Global parameters define the settings that affect integration with the PBX.

Flash Time

For Inband and No Integration only. Specifies the length of time the hook switch must be pressed before the
PBX will recognize it as a hookflash signal. The settings made here should match the settings of the PBX.

600 ms
Value Range
100 ms, 300 ms, 600 ms, and 900 ms
CPC Signal
For Inband and No Integration only. Specifies the minimum time necessary to detect an interruption in the CPC
(Calling Party Control) signal received from the PBX. The VPS is able to determine that the line has been
disconnected when it detects an interruption of the CPC signal. The settings made here should match the
settings of the PBX.

None, 6.5 ms, 150 ms, 300 ms, 450 ms, 600 ms, and 900 ms
