2.5.2 Extension Group

An Extension Group is a group of extensions that share a common mailbox. Each group has an Extension
Group number. If the group number is assigned as the owner of a mailbox, then all members cannot be
assigned their own personal mailboxes.
Up to 20 Extension Groups can be created, and each group can consist of 100 extensions (members).
You can add, delete, and review the extensions. Members of an Extension Group are able to share the same
mailbox and be notified by the Message Waiting Notification–Lamp feature when a message is received.
Follow the steps below to edit an Extension Group.
[Adding a Group]
1.
Click Add....
2.
Enter a group number and a group name.
3.
Click OK.
[Deleting a Group]
1.
Select the desired group number.
2.
Click Delete.
3.
Click Yes.
