5. Press the Start button. Set HR LIMITS is displayed.

button. Set UNITS is displayed.

• To return to the Time main mode, press and hold the Stop button.
Note: You can use the Unit Converter feature of the Polar Precision Performance software to convert units, for example, from meters to feet for altitude
readings.

Setting Rate for Vertical Speed

The vertical speed setting defines if the ascent/descent rate is displayed as meter/ feet per minute or hour.
You can monitor your ascent or descent rate when the altimeter is activated in the Alti main mode.
