Personal Boxes

Personal Boxes
This feature lets you set up the machine so that
incoming messages addressed to certain users are
stored in memory instead of being printed out im-
mediately. Each user must be assigned a SUB
Code (Personal Code) that has been designated as
a Personal Box beforehand. When the other party
sends their message, they specify the SUB Code
of the user to which they are sending the mes-
sage. When the message is received, it is stored
in the Personal Box with the matching SUB
Code. In order to print a message received into a
Personal Box, you must enter the SUB Code as-
signed to that Personal Box. This enables several
individuals or departments to share a single fax
machine yet be able to differentiate between mes-
sages. Furthermore, if you specify a receiver for
the Personal Box, instead of being stored in
memory, incoming messages with this SUB
Code appended are forwarded directly to the des-
tination you specify.
