Ethernet Setup options

You can enable AppleTalk, TCP/IP, and IPX (Novell) communication simultaneously
on Ethernet cabling. To configure the Fiery SI, choose each protocol and enter the
settings for that protocol. Since network setups are nested, the names of higher-level
menus are shown in this chapter to the left of each menu heading.
AppleTalk Setup
Enable AppleTalk
Yes/No [Yes]
Select Yes if you have an AppleTalk network connected to the Fiery SI. This setting
enables the Fiery SI to communicate over AppleTalk networks.
AppleTalk Zone
list of zones
The Fiery SI searches the network for AppleTalk zones. Scroll through the list to select
the AppleTalk zone in which you want the Fiery SI to appear. If you do not enter a
zone, the Fiery SI is assigned to the default AppleTalk zone.
The alert "No AppleTalk zone found" may mean your network has no zones, or the
network cable is not connected (see page 4-3). Choose OK.
