Microsoft Exchange
Jet Stress 2013 is a benchmarking tool for Microsoft Exchange. It is used to simulate the I/O patterns of log
file loads and Exchange database accesses for a specific number of users. Jet Stress is used to measure the
average IOP latency for the mailbox simulation and it should be less than 20 milliseconds.
For this test, 30,000 mailboxes of 1GB will be used in a cluster of four HX7510 nodes with E5-2699v4
processors, 512 GB of memory, and four 800 GB SSDs. Exchange is configured using a database availability
group (DAG) across four Windows 2012 R2 VMs, one per node each using the ESXi 6.0 U1 hypervisor.
