7-3 Preparation for Transportation 1

This is the procedure of the preparation when transporting the machine without removing the ink.
If the preparation is done in this way, the power needs to be turned on again within 48 hours. Make
sure to keep the ambient temperature during the transportation between 5 and 40 °C.
If the ambient temperature can be kept 30 °C or below, the machine can be kept safe up to about 72
hours without turning on the power.
Perform a cleaning for all heads.

Discard any maintenance liquid that has collected in the

tray.
1) Turn on the SUB POWER SW while pressing the
Left, Right and Down keys to enter the SERVICE
MODE.
Select [I/S MENU]>[I/S CONTROL]>[HEAD UP/
DOWN]>[OPEN], and press the [ENTER] key.The
HEAD UNIT moves up and it allows you to move
the HEAD CARRIAGE right and left by hand.
2) Move the HEAD CARRIAGE slowly to the left.
