Connecting the Cables
Connecting the Power Cord
!! IMPORTANT !!
Connect the two power cords to outlets on separate systems.
Connecting the Ethernet cable (suggested 100Base-TX) to the Computer (Network)
*Make sure to use the Ethernet cable which is category 5 and above.
Filling Ink
Fix the Ink Cartridge and fill Ink. Refer to the Setup guide [5. Installing the Ink Cartridges].
!! IMPORTANT !!
Keep the removed dummy cartridges from being discarded
for future use.
Setting up the
Network
Setting up the network in reference to the "Roland-PrintServer Network Setup Guide".
Setting up the PC
Enter the IP Address (e.g. 192.168.0.100) and the Subnet Mask (e.g. 255.255.255.0).
Setting up the printer
Enter the IP Address (e.g. 192.168.0.101) and the Subnet mask (e.g. 255.255.255.0)
Installing Roland
VersaWorks
Install the Roland VersaWorks in reference to the Quick Start Guide.

Select a check box [Download Updates Automatically and Notify] if the customer accepts it.
