1. Installation Temperature and Humidity Maintain the specified temperature and humidity even when the machine is not in use. Temperatures that are too high may degrade the ink and cause malfunction. Temperatures that are too low may cause the ink to freeze and damage the heads. 5. Installing the Ink Cartridges Filling with Ink for the First Time Special procedures are required when installing ink cartridges for the first time. These are required only once, when installing ink cartridges for the first time after shipment from the factory.
