Removing And Installing The Throttle Valve Control Unit Gx3 - Skoda Octavia III 2013 Workshop Manual

1.2/63; 77 kW TSI engine - Edition 11.2014
– Disconnect electrical plug connections:
1 - For solenoid valve 1 for activated charcoal filter - N80-
3 - for throttle valve control unit - GX3-
4 - Intake manifold pressure sender - GX9-
– Release screw -arrow-.
– Press release buttons and remove hose -2- for activated char‐
coal filter.
– Unclip fuel feed line -5- and coolant line -6- at the intake mani‐
fold and push to the side.
– Disconnect the plug connection -1- from the fuel pressure
sender - G247- .
– Disconnect the electrical plug connections from the oil pres‐
sure switch sender.
– Loosen hose clamps -2- and remove coolant hoses.
– Remove bolts -arrows-.
– Remove intake manifold -1-.
Install
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When installing,
observe the following:
Note
Replace gaskets and O-rings.
– Install the noise insulation ⇒ Body Work; Rep. gr. 66 .
– Install air filter housing
⇒ "2.2 Removing and installing air filter housing", page 239
– Replenish coolant
⇒ "1.2 Draining and filling coolant", page 147

♦ Throttle valve module - J338-
♦ Throttle valve drive - G186-
♦ Throttle valve drive angle sender 1 - G187-
♦ Throttle valve drive angle sender 2 - G188-
