4. Remove the upper feeder assembly,
a. Remove the screw (1).
b. Remove the rear hinge bracket (2).
c. Remove the upper feeder assembly (3).

Replacement
The replacement is the reverse of the removal procedure.

Removal
Switch off the electricity to the machine. Refer to
from the customer supply while performing tasks that do not need electricity. Electricity
can cause death or injury. Moving parts can cause injury.
1. Remove the DADF front cover,
2. Remove the DADF rear cover,
3. Remove the upper feeder assembly,
4. Remove the document tray,
5. Remove the harness guide and wire harness,
6. Remove two screws (1) that secure the DADF feeder assembly at the rear,
NOTE: On some machines, the DADF feeder assembly may be secured by a third screw
(2).
