Description

Object properties
The following table shows the object properties of FB_STLOC:
FB_STLOC
Area of application
The AS function block "FB_STLOC" (storage location) is used to search for a material in
storage locations from the AS.
The block offers the following functions:
● Sending search requests for a storage location to the OS
– Freely definable search filter
– Freely definable results sorting
● Searching the user archive on the OS for the specified storage location, listing storage
locations found and reporting them to the AS
● Automatic or manual selection of a storage location from the selection listed and reserving
the setpoint quantity to be stored at the storage location
● Canceling the reserved setpoint quantity when storage is complete.
● Monitoring data communication (generation of alarms)

The physical storage is made via application-specific features, not by this block.
