Use of remainder
Use of remainder is activated at the "EN_REM = 1" input. The maximum number of storage
locations to be included with remainders is specified at the "SPLIT_PT" input parameter. When
the function is started, the selected storage locations are reserved with the specified partial
quantities. The end of partial quantity export is signaled by the "L_NEXT = 1" input, and this
cancels the quantity reservation. The next storage location is then available at the outputs of
the "FB_STMAT" block.
Triggering the "Search" function
Once search criteria have been specified, the search is started with a positive edge at the
"L_SEARCH" input of the block. The OS returns up to 10 storage locations matching the
search. The number of storage locations found is output in the AS at the "QHITS" output of
the block.
When use of remainder is activated (EN_REM = 1) and in accordance with the input parameter
"SPLIT_PT", a search is started for storage locations with remainders (number = SPLIT_PT),
and storage locations which cover the quantity still required (= setpoint quantity minus all
remainders).
User-defined filters / sorting can be activated for the search (EN_FILT = 1). The filter ID at the
"LFILTER" input is entered in the search for storage locations with remainders, and the filter
at the "LFILTER2" input for the search for storage locations covering the remaining quantity
required.
The following feedback is output when the "Search" function is completed:
● The search was successful: QSEL_POS = 1, QRUN_ERR = 0
● The search was not successful: QSEL_POS = 0, QRUN_ERR = 1
Selecting the storage location
There are two modes, "Manual" and "Auto":
● "Manual" mode
The operator selects the required storage location by clicking on the corresponding line in
the faceplate. The search can be started again with the "Search" key. Provided the export
has not been started, you can change the storage location by starting a new search
("Search" or edge change "L_SEARCH")
● "Auto" mode
The storage location with the lowest material lot ID is automatically selected. Provided
export has not yet been started, you can change the storage location by switching to manual
mode and starting a new search ("Search" or "L_SEARCH" edge change).
When use of remainder is activated (EN_REM = 1), the selection in "Auto" depends on the
filters/sorting.
Once the storage location is selected, feedback is output with QSEL_OK=1; the data of the
selected storage location are available for further processing at the outputs in the AS.
