Focusing manually

You can gain better results by manually adjusting
the focus in the following cases.
Normally, focus is automatically adjusted.
•The autofocus is not effective when shooting:
– Subjects through glass coated with water
droplets
– Horizontal stripes
– Subjects with little contrast with backgrounds
such as walls and sky
•When you want to change the focus from a
subject in the foreground to a subject in the
background.
•Shooting a stationary subject when using a
tripod.
(1) Set FOCUS to MAN while the POWER switch
is set to CAMERA or MEMORY/NETWORK
(DCR-TRV950E only).
The 9 indicator appears.
(2) Turn the focus ring to sharpen focus.

Set FOCUS to AUTO.

In de volgende gevallen kunt u betere
opnameresultaten bereiken door handmatig
scherp te stellen:
Normaal wordt de scherpstelling automatisch
geregeld.
•Automatische scherpstelling werkt niet goed bij
het opnemen van:
– Onderwerpen achter mat glas of beslagen
vensterglas
– Onderwerpen met horizontale strepen
– Onderwerpen met weinig tekening of
contrast, zoals een wand, de lucht enz
•Wanneer u de scherpstelling wilt veranderen,
van een onderwerp op de voorgrond naar een
onderwerp op de achtergrond.
•Voor het opnemen van een stilstaand
onderwerp, met de camcorder op een statief.
(1) Zet FOCUS op MAN met de POWER
schakelaar in de CAMERA of MEMORY/
NETWORK stand (alleen DCR-TRV950E).
De 9 indicator verschijnt.
(2) Draai aan de scherpstelring tot u het
onderwerp scherp in beeld hebt.
Terugkeren naar automatische
scherpstelling
Zet de FOCUS schakelaar in de AUTO stand.
