Recording a picture
Time code
The time code indicates the recording or
playback time, "0:00:00" (hours : minutes :
seconds) in CAMERA and "0:00:00:00" (hours :
minutes : seconds : frames) in VCR.
You cannot rewrite only the time code.
Remaining tape indicator
The indicator may not be displayed accurately
depending on the tape.
Recording data
The recording data (date/time or various settings
when recorded) are not displayed while
recording. However, they are recorded
automatically on the tape. To display the
recording data, press the DATA CODE button
during playback. You can also use the Remote
Commander for this operation (p. 54).
Shooting backlit subjects
– BACK LIGHT
When you shoot a subject with the light source
behind the subject or a subject with a light
background, use the backlight function.
Press BACK LIGHT while the POWER switch is
set to CAMERA or MEMORY/NETWORK
(DCR-TRV950E only).
The . indicator appears on the screen. To cancel,
press BACK LIGHT again.
When shooting backlit subjects
If you press SPOT LIGHT, EXPOSURE or SPOT
METER, the backlight function will be cancelled.
When you manually adjust the exposure
You cannot use the backlight function.

Video-opnamen maken
Tijdcode
De tijdcode geeft de opnameduur of
weergavespeelduur aan als "0:00:00" (uren:
minuten: seconden) in de CAMERA stand en als
"0:00:00:00" (uren: minuten: seconden: beelden)
in de VCR stand.
U kunt deze tijdcode niet naderhand wijzigen.
Restbandindicator
Deze aanduiding kan niet altijd juist worden
aangegeven, afhankelijk van de gebruikte
videocassette.
Opnamegegevens
De opnamegegevens (datum/tijd of andere
instellingen) verschijnen niet tijdens het
opnemen. Deze worden wel automatisch op de
videocassette opgenomen. Druk op DATA CODE
tijdens het afspelen om de opnamegegevens weer
te geven. Hiervoor kunt u ook de
afstandsbediening gebruiken (p. 54).
Filmen met tegenlicht
– BACK LIGHT
Voor het maken van tegenlichtopnamen, met
achter het onderwerp een lichtbron of een erg
lichte achtergrond, kunt u ter correctie de
tegenlichtcompensatie inschakelen.
Druk op BACK LIGHT met de POWER
schakelaar in de CAMERA of MEMORY/
NETWORK stand (alleen DCR-TRV950E).
De . aanduiding verschijnt op het scherm. Om
de tegenlichtcompensatie uit te schakelen, drukt
u nogmaals op BACK LIGHT.
Onderwerpen met tegenlicht filmen
Wanneer u op SPOT LIGHT, EXPOSURE of
SPOT METER drukt, wordt de
tegenlichtcompensatie uitgeschakeld.
Als u de belichting handmatig regelt
Dan is tegenlichtcompensatie niet beschikbaar.
