Note on Cassette Memory
Your camcorder is based on the DV format. You
can use only mini DV cassettes with your
camcorder. We recommend that you use a tape
with cassette memory
Functions that require different operations
depending on whether or not the tape has a
cassette memory are:
– END SEARCH (p. 51)
– DATE SEARCH (p. 116)
– PHOTO SEARCH (p. 119)
Functions you can operate only with the cassette
memory are:
– TITLE SEARCH (p. 114)
– Superimposing a title (p. 154)
– Labelling a cassette (p. 160)
For details of cassette types, see page 311.
You see this mark in the introduction of
features that are operated only with
cassette memory.
Cassettes with cassette memory are marked by
(Cassette Memory).
Note on TV colour systems
TV colour systems differ depending on the
country or region. To view your recordings on a
TV, you need a PAL system-based TV.
Copyright precautions
Television programmes, films, video tapes, and
other materials may be copyrighted.
Unauthorised recording of such materials may be
contrary to the copyright laws.

Betreffende het
cassettegeheugen
Deze camcorder werkt volgens het DV-formaat
en is uitsluitend geschikt voor mini-DV
videocassettes. Wij raden u aan gebruik te maken
van videocassettes met het cassettegeheugen-
beeldmerk .
De werking van de volgende functies is
afhankelijk van het cassettegeheugen van de
videocassette:

De volgende functies werken uitsluitend met het
cassettegeheugen:

– Titel aanbrengen (p. 154)

Deze aanduiding zult u aantreffen bij de
beschrijving van de functies die werken

Cassettes die voorzien zijn van een
cassettegeheugen zijn te herkennen aan het
cassettegeheugen-beeldmerk
Opmerking betreffende TV-
kleursystemen
TV-kleursystemen verschillen van land tot land
of van streek tot streek. Om uw opnamen te
bekijken op een TV, moet deze werken volgens
het PAL-systeem.
Auteursrechten
Televisieprogramma's, films, videocassettes en
ander materiaal kan auteursrechtelijk zijn
beschermd. Ongeoorloofde opname van dergelijk
materiaal kan een inbreuk betekenen op de
wetgeving inzake auteursrechten.
