Check the resistance of the coil primary between
pin 22 of the interface wiring and the Red-Brown
cable of the injection load remote control base,
with both the control unit and the remote control
disconnected.
Electric characteristic
Resistance of the primary
~ 1 Ohm
Inspecting the spark plug shielded cap
Measure the shielded cap resistance.
Electric characteristic
Resistance:
5 K
If different values are measured (<1; >20K ), re-
place the shielded cap.
NOTE
A SHIELDLESS SPARK PLUG CAP OR A MISSING SPARK PLUG CAN ADVERSELY AFFECT
THE INJECTION SYSTEM.

Spark advance
The ignition advance is determined electronically on the basis of parameters known by the control unit.
For this reason it is not possible to state the reference values based on the engine revs.
