Removing the wheel axle bearings
- Remove the Seeger ring from the outside of the
hub cover.
- Support the hub cover using the stud bolt set.
- Extract the bearing with the specific tool.

- Remove the oil seal using a screwdriver.
Removing the driven pulley shaft bearing
- Should the driven pulley shaft, its bearing and oil
seal be removed, take out the transmission cover
and the clutch assembly as described in the «Au-
tomatic transmission» chapter.
- Extract the driven pulley shaft from its bearing.
- Remove the oil seal using a screwdriver inside
the hub gearcase.
- Remove the Seeger ring shown in the figure.
