Refitting the rocker-arms cover
- Check that the gasket is in good condition.
- Tighten the two screws indicated in the figure with
«1» and «2» to limit the reciprocal sliding of the
cover surface with the head surface.
- Tighten the remaining 4 screws in a criss-crossed
sequence (3,4,5,6).
NOTE
PAY ATTENTION TO THE CORRECT POSITION
OF THE GASKET.
Locking torques (N*m)
Tappet cover fixing screws 7 - 9
- Fit the driving pulley with the mesh filter and the
external transmission cover as described in the
«Automatic transmission» chapter.
- Fit the cooling system sleeves using new clamps
as described in the «Flywheel cover» Chapter.
